ABOUT THE CLUB
WELCOME
The Bub Club is a modern parenthood club for Gold Coast families, there from the moment you fall pregnant through to early parenthood. It starts with a six-week prenatal course and social club, then continues into ongoing postnatal support: one continuous journey, not two separate products. Small cohorts of couples meet weekly with a Gold Coast midwife at a local venue, from a surf club to a community hall, building real friendships along the way. After birth, that same cohort stays connected through platform access, an expert session of your choice, and a reunion once every baby in the group has arrived. It's antenatal education and a social club rolled into one, minus the clinical feel and the random postcode lottery. Partners are in the room from week one, because parenthood is a team sport here. And from 2027, the club grows further still, with postnatal memberships and regular community events to keep you connected well beyond your first six weeks.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
COMMUNITY
We believe parenthood is better with people around you. Community isn't an add-on for us, it's the whole model: real conversations with a midwife who knows your name, alongside a small group of couples walking the same stretch of road at the same time. We're informed, not clinical: the confidence of expert guidance delivered like a chat with a smart friend, not a lecture. We think partners belong in every part of this, from birth prep to the 3am feed. And we believe support shouldn't stop at the hospital doors, because the biggest gap in new parenthood is what happens after you bring your baby home. The Bub Club exists to close that gap, on the Gold Coast, for Gold Coast families.
COMMUNITY MODEL
SMALL & LOCAL
The Bub Club works because it's small and it's local. Cohorts are capped, so you actually get to know the other couples in your group, not a Facebook group of hundreds you'll never really meet. We partner with Gold Coast venues, from surf clubs to community centres to local favourites, who host us because we bring a community through their doors, and that's what keeps membership low-cost and firmly rooted in the neighbourhoods we serve. Every cohort is led by a vetted, AHPRA-registered midwife, so you're getting real clinical expertise alongside real connection. And because the group stays together from pregnancy through the early months, the friendships you make here are the ones that last, for you and for your kids. It's parenthood, done as a team, in your own backyard.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
TIFFANIE SMITH-WEST
I'm Tiff, a Gold Coast mum of two, and the founder of The Bub Club. I'm building this because I want every Gold Coast parent to have the community they need to walk into parenthood, not walk into it alone. I experienced the power of a connected prenatal group during a stint in the UK, and came home to find nothing like it here. Not at the right price, not with the right warmth, and certainly nothing that stayed with you past the birth. The Bub Club is the village I was looking for. And now it's yours, and it's better than anything I experienced.
